The results of the group bet are in! We put most of our bets hoping Fierceness (1) would win. But he did not. He got 3rd. But we had that outcome covered with a “safety” superfecta bet and we won! That’s the good news. The bad news is the top 4 ranks got 1-2-3-4 and the payout was only $21. If you look at the image below, check out the superfecta payouts for each race compared to what was paid in Race 9.
Blue are winners, Red = 2nd, Yellow = 3rd, Green is 4th
Betacus Performance
Betacus Group A selections were 11 for 12 picking winners. We missed Race 8.
Betacus Scorecard
Betacus rocked the scorecard. All the exacta bet type ROIs were positive. We only show exactas in the scorecard, but the ROI applies should you have expanded the exacta bet to trifecta and superfecta bets.
Recommended Bet
If you are interested in betting on the horses and are wondering what bet to place using the Betacus ranking system, we have 2 recommendations (based on our ROI analysis).
- Exacta Key Box using the longshot selection shown in Power Line (PL) column 4.9 as the “Key” and the next 6 horses in ranked order on the other side of the Key.
- Exacta Key Box using the top rank as the “Key” and the next 6 horses in ranked order on the other side of the Key. The reason we focus on exacta bets vs. the trifecta and superfecta bets, is because the track takes a higher percentage of the pool from these bet types. The trifecta and superfecta bets still have merit, but they need to be placed selectively based on each race’s configuration.
