Rookie Card (#6) has the top workout rank, fastest early speed and Rosario is the jockey. It looks like the 7, 1, 4, 6 have an equal chance to win. That makes the top 4 ranks w/ top 4 ranks exacta box a safe bet but there are some other things to consider with this race configuration. I put letters A – D on the screen shot to explain.

Race Configuration Observations
A. There are 5 horses under 5-1 odds and 3 horses over 12-1 odds. That affects the best betting options
B. The horse with the fastest pace value is 12-1 so he might have to be in the bet(s)
C. Expert 13 (one of my favorites) has picked the 5-1 to win and that makes the 4x4 exacta box risker than hoped. I do not want to include the horse in my boxed exacta because $20 is too much cost.
D. Another database system I use to help rank also has Rookie Card (#6) with top early speed times.
